not only is Rachel gorgeous, but she's very lovely inside, too.  her love for Christ is evident in all things.  she's constantly giving of herself - he care for others is very humbling to witness.  i've had the privilege of becoming very close to Rachel and her family over the past few years.  we all go to the same church.  to me they're family, my younger sisters (there's five girls) - to them, i'm big brother.
Rachel is graduating this year and is off to school in the fall to start an ASL program here locally.  they live out in the country (sort of), so we stuck close to home for the fotos.  we went across the street and followed a path on which her family likes to take walks.  enough of me blabbering already...

p.s., huh, i almost didn't use the digital, and see what i get for trying to sell the little bugger (yummy fotos); film images to follow here shortly though.

Jonathan, these are gorgeous! I love all the colors. The red shirt in the forest really stands out beautifully. You're so talented!

their session was completely documented in film, notice the yumminess of all the fotos.  film carries it with a simplicity that is more and more calling me like a siren - but not the kind of siren that kills you.
these two are my friends.  they're fun.  i like them.  we laughed a lot.  i also like succinct sentences, it appears, when describing friends.

oh yeah, these were taken at sunrise.  sunrise is the new sunset.

not often does the sky come to us, that our lives are filled with a sense
of the heavens life appears as Light shining in darkness,
no capacity - no ability - only a wandering we take to the streets
when he calls the quiet not by blood, save by God's decrees

I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me (John 14:6)
This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil (John 3:19)
There is none righteous, not even one, there is none who understands, there is none who seeks for God...because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin...for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Ro 3)
He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Co 5:21)
Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest (Mt 11:28)
I am the bread of life: he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst (John 6:35)

JFrey, as always, excellent pictures. Quick question: why can't I view your blog in Safari or Chrome? I have to open Firefox. Weird.
