what happens in indiana, stays in indi turns into corn.

as much as i don't like to admit it, i really do like indiana.  i'm a hoosier through and through.  i grew up on corn, green beans, corn, lamb chops (maybe that was just my family), corn bread, corn, fried anything, sweet corn, and homemade strawberry jam and apple butter to put on our biscuits.  where else in the world can you go and find your self lost in a maze of maize. well...probably iowa.

this is the first of a few series of new photographs.

These make me laugh! I grew up on a farm in PA...every summer my family would shuck 500 ears of sweet corn on one day to freeze and eat for the whole winter. My aunt, whose name is Fern and who is a slightly paranoid individual, bless her heart, would talk about "the corn people". I am so glad you got a picture of Michael running into the corn... :D
