so come monday morning i'll be heading out toward the pacific -- that's saying a lot for a good ole indiana boy who's never been to the west coast. i'll be making pictures all week.

because i'll be gone for a week i wanted to do a quick post to 1) tie you over until i put up longer posts and 2) to not go without a post for over a week!

well, just because i'm out of the 'office' does not mean i can't be reached.  i'll have my phone with me and i'll be able to check and respond to e-mail.  so please don't hesitate to contact me about any concern or question you might have.

what happens in indiana, stays in indi turns into corn.

i thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with Courtney and Drew.  we had originally planned on taking half of the pictures downtown and then for the other half we were going to go to the indiana state fair for some flavorful fotos.  but time was against us and i'm actually very glad we didn't end up going to the fair.  many of these photos are some of my all time favoirtes.  Drew and Courtney were so natural in front of the camera and wanted to try all of my stunts -- that's an immediate gold star in my book.  love, love, love.  you two are quite the find.  your love is so tender and dear for each other.  thanks for letting me capture some of it.  and thanks for good conversation and music exchange.  Drew, be sure to try out Beirut; you can't go wrong with his album Gulag Orkestar.

so, guess what?  i'm taking my first road trip to the west coast.  this will actually be my first time out in california.  my brother is moving to san diego.  i am going to do him a huge favor (a HUGE favor -- remember that, Jordan, when the time comes for my birthday!); i am driving his car out there.  i leave august 31st and return september 8th.  i'll have my laptop with me and will be doing my very best to answer e-mails, but if i don't please forgive me, it's only because i'm out of touch and not because i don't like you :)

DJ Lockstar and i did some promo pictures for him back in march.  those were outside and pretty dang sweet but they were away from the live action.  this time he needed pictures of him in the act, rockin the house.  i think we nailed it.  Lockstar you make me move.
