my beautiful sister had a beautiful baby girl last month, Kate Isabel.
we made fotos of her and her mama, papa, and big brother. beautiful, yes?

the day was misty, much like today. as the evening approached, my desire to make a foto quickly rose. i only wanted one. notwithstanding that, i knew it would take time and i needed a person to make this image a reality.
social media has it's downfalls but also its advantages. in a scene of whim, i put on twitter/facebook i desired to do an extemporaneously foto shoot. within minutes, Nate had agreed to lend his person.
we made my one foto, and created more.
can you guess which is the one? if you're my mother, and guess it right, you get a hug and kiss.
making it a reality:
contax 645 80mm planar zeiss f/2 kodak t-max

this is my other gorgeous sister. i like her. i like my brother-in-law. i like my nieces. we decided to make fotos that you would want to hang on your wall. do you know that i shoot exclusively film? kodak 400 t-max. metered straight up.
