(hit play, then pause it immediately to let it load fully; once loaded, hit play again)
what a blessing to know this family and what a privilege to make a motion picture of their kids. i enjoyed every minute of this because it's not hard to have little ones run and play and swim. i look forward to making more films like this...
fotos are from last summer by the way

i'll tell you what, Pittsburgh keeps pulling me and pulling as if i ought to move there. it's a great city with plenty of culture (or at least more than where i reside). okay, if it were not for people like Jordan and Meredith it wouldn't be as nearly attractive. J and M are a duo from Grove City that i met and became friends with while attending GCC. actually, i stayed with Jordan while i spent a week in Pitt; we spent hours just goofing off which was so relaxing. super lovely and super hospitable. it rained the day we scheduled the e-session - as you'll see. we made the best of it, and by that i mean they took me to Five Guys which was my first experience. oh, simply wonderful burgers; fries were a little salty though, and i digress. so we got back together a couple days later and made use of the wonderful and glorious sunshine - it was a dear time.

Jonathan, I love the contrast between the city and the country...you captured Mere and Jordan beautifully! I really enjoyed looking through these.

yep, it's a fabulous pair that were so full of laughter and sincerity. they knew how to make you feel incredibly comfortable (maybe i felt too comfortable around them - i mean i kind of have an interesting sense of humor). but they were so gentle with anyone - which was simply precious to witness. it sets a standard for lovingkindness. Bryan and Lydia were married in Oakland Pittsburgh so we took advantage of the city surroundings.

Jon,
Thanks so much for the work you did at the wedding. These are some beautiful shots. I can't wait for Lydia to share the rest with the family.
Great composition. You've got great talent and I look forward to seeing more of your work.
